"The voluntary and community organisations play a vital role in society today, including lobbying for improved access to services, providing social and educational opportunities for local residents and improving good relations within and between communities
"Community Development and building good community relations is by its nature challenging. There is a need for communities to continue to work in partnership with each other and with statutory agencies to build healthy and communities"
This year Coleraine Borough Council took the opportunity during the awards reception to highlight the various departments within Council, their role and the services they provide.
